Looking for an easier way to build your child s language skills? Try the Learn-A-Licious app. Learn-A-Licious is an interactive word flashcard game for preschoolers. Words (Level 1) helps children build a strong word vocabulary in a fun, interactive game environment. Phonics (Level 2) takes the learning one step further by requiring that both pictures and the starting sound of the pictures be identified. This app features a combination of fun game graphics and crystal clear photos. Choose from twelve different game categories: animals, more animals, preschool, nature, tools, transportation, vegetables, positions, movement, music, shapes and sports. For phonics, choose the starting letter. Select the correct picture from four (or two, if four is too difficult) flashcard images. A narrator expresses appreciation for your response whether it is correct or not, with stars awarded at the end of each game to recognize your achievements. Children love to see fun, real-world pictures and feel the joy of getting the right answer. Through repetitive playing, children develop their ability to maintain focus, increase their vocabulary for everyday objects in their environment, and build a foundation for reading.
